The Heritage Bulletin supports efforts to bring the study of
local nature and local communities into the secondary school curriculum.
It supports teachers in developing a pedagogy of place. It is a
publication of the Montana Heritage Project, an educational initiative
of the Montana Historical Society. The Project is funded by the Liz
Claiborne and Art Ortenberg Foundation.
We welcome submissions of student and teacher writing that
focuses on any aspect of local culture. Send manuscripts with
