A Narrative History of the Montana Heritage Project
A Study of School Activities and Buildings
Junior English students in Townsend continued previous Heritage Project work by further exploring activity histories at Broadwater High School as well as researching school building histories. The general premise of the research was that schools are important community builders in rural regions and the activities at these rural schools say much about the community. Students worked in small groups to research different activities from several eras. The research results were published in a book and distributed to the community. To print a final report for the year-end binder, click here.
