Movie Making Software Packages

Much has been discussed about what software to use with high school students when starting a class on movie making.  Questions addressing how to make a DVD, or edit sound, movies, or photos all need to be understood.  Just this month PC Magazine has offered a pretty decent article for the novice.  It’s a overview of all the steps in making a movie and includes an explanation of basic technology.  Included in the article are reviews of both introductory and “serious hobbiest” software packages for consideration.  Most of their suggestions are priced under $100.  The article can be found at http://go.pcmag.com/makingmovies.  The software reviews are linked to the article.
